AAWCCO is pleased to announce their 2022-23 Scholarship recipients (pictured top to bottom) – Blossom Njoku and Kamara Hutchins.

Blossom Njoku is the recipient of the “Horace and Mae O. Mamou, Sr. Scholarship” in the amount of $3,000. She is a 2023 graduate of Hightower High School in Missouri City, Texas. Blossom will be attending University of Texas in Austin, Texas and majoring in Human Development and Family Sciences in the Fall. Her ultimate goal is to open and operate a professional medical practice!

Kamala Hutchins is the recipient of the “Horace and Mae O. Mamou, Sr. Scholarship” in the amount of $3,000. She is a 2023 graduate of Hightower High School in Missouri City, Texas. Kamara will be attending Stephen F. Austin in Nacogdoches, Texas and majoring in Economics.

We’re very proud of both of these young ladies and believe they will excel on their college journeys, as they reach higher heights in their education and life experiences!
