The African American Women Council for Community Outreach (AAWCCO) is pleased to announce they awarded two (2) $1,500 scholarships for the 2020-2021 school year.
The recipients are Avion Fuller and Jeremiah Hall (pictured below).
Avion is graduating from Houston ISD’s Houston Academy for International Studies. She has been accepted into Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA and will major in Political Science. After obtaining her undergraduate degree, she plans to attend Law school.
Jeremiah is graduating from Pearland ISD’s Glenda Dawson High School. He has been accepted into the American Music and Dramatic Academy in New York City and will major in Fine Arts/Theatre.
We salute Avion and Jeremiah and wish them the very best as they embark upon their educational pursuit!
