AAWCCO is pleased to announce their 2021-22 Scholarship recipients (pictured top to bottom) – Kiah Hopkins and Cierra Miller.

Kiah Hopkins is the recipient of the “Horace and Mae O. Mamou, Sr. Scholarship” in the amount of $1,500. She is a 2022 graduate of Shadow Creek High School in Pearland, Texas. Kiah will be attending Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia and majoring in Political Science in the Fall. Her ultimate goal is to go to law school and to become a judge!

Cierra Miller is the recipient of the “Horace and Mae O. Mamou, Sr. Scholarship” in the amount of $1,500. She is a 2022 graduate of James Madison High School in Houston, Texas. Cierra has aspirations to attend Prairie View A&M University, where she will focus her studies on building a career in nursing.

We’re very proud of both of these young ladies and believe they will excel on their college journeys, as they reach higher heights in their education and life experiences!
